We want to thank all of our customers for their patience and business as we wrap up the 2022 dock and lift season and look forward to 2023.
We were again able to serve waterfront property owners in the lakes area with premium LA Dock and ShoreMaster docks, Lifts, and accessories. Most customers noted how quickly we were able to get their new waterfront equipment installed last spring, and many said they were glad that they chose Lake Area Docks & Lifts after hearing from their neighbors that other waterfront equipment providers in the area struggled to get inventory. We pride ourselves on being the most ready, with the right mix of products, at the right time, and it leads to many happy customers season after season. Water levels on area lakes were higher than normal to start the 2022 season, and they have since come down to normal or even below normal levels as we are receiving our first snow of the year today. We did find that some customers with SeaLegs installed on their pontoons struggled to effectively park their pontoons along shore using their SeaLegs when the water levels were so deep early in the season, but as the season progressed and water levels returned to normal most were able to enjoy their pontoons. As of today, we have already received much of our preseason inventory from our suppliers like ShoreMaster, LiftTech (Boat Lift Motors), Crary Weedrollers, and Ryco Hydraulic Boat Lifts and more and we are ready, as always to get you set up with a new dock, lift, or both this spring. Sales continue to come in as property owners plan for warmer temps next spring, and we are already building more LA Sectional dock in anticipation of a great 2023 season. Right now is definitely the best time to plan for your waterfront equipment needs as we head into the holiday months. Inventory at all five Lake Area Dock & Lift locations is really good, but the most important thing now is to just get on the schedule to ensure timely delivery of your equipment, the weeks leading up to and after ice out goes really quickly, and if you are added to the calendar later in fall, winter, or even into spring, you might just end up at the back end of the list which will definitely impact the amount of time you have to enjoy your new equipment next summer! We look forward to the boat shows this season and can't wait to see you all there!
